Due to the disturbing documentary that wants to revive the child abuse accusations against Michael Jackson, major stations in Quebec in Canada order strip of the performer’s music from the airwaves.
“We are attentive to the comments of our listeners, and the documentary released on Sunday evening created reactions,” said Christine Dicaire of Cogeco which operates 22 radio stations across Quebec and another in Ontario.
The decision was made after the documentary “Leaving Neverland” released on the United States through the cable network HBO.
“We prefer to observe the situation by removing the songs from our stations, for the time being,” she added.
