The Woodstock co-founder Michael Lang has revealed that the performers of the upcoming Woodstock 50 festival will be disclosed soon.
This statement was made after media reports made public claiming that some artists such as Jay-Z, Black Keys and many more will perform at the festival event on August 2019.
“We are thrilled with all the excitement about Woodstock 50, but we have an obligation to our fans, artists and partners to do things the right way,” Lang said in an interview with the Associated Press. “We are in the final stages of laying the groundwork and can’t wait to stage this once-in-a-lifetime event. We’ll be officially announcing the lineup and ticket on-sale soon, stay tuned!” He added.

This event is said to be a separate one from the anniversary concert planned at the very site of the original festival.
More than 80 artists are expected to perform at Woodstock 50 that will be held on August 16 to 18 in Watskin Glen, New York.
Historically, more than 400,000 people packed the Woodstock Music and Arts Fair on August 15 to 17, 1969.
