Beyonce, Jay-Z dedicate GLAAD award to HIV-succumbed uncle

Beyonce and Jay-Z have dedicated their GLAAD award to her uncle who died becuase of some HIV complications.
The Vanguard Award was received by the couple on Thursday on the recent 30th annual media awards in Beverly Hills, California. Vanguard award is a LGBTQ advocacy award given to those who made a significant difference in their promotion of acceptance to the people belong to the LGBTQ.
Beyonce shared some moments recalling her experience about respect on one of her tour saying that “looking out from the stage every night and seeing the hardest gangsta trappin’ right next to the most fabulous queen.”
Both artists also shared their personal experience about their relatives who happens to be in LGBTQ. According to Beyonce, witnessing her uncles battle against HIV was painful while Jay-Z honored his mother, a lesbian.
