Appendicitis hits Kelly Clarkson on Billboard Music Awards

  The show must go on for Kelly Clarkson when she hosted the recent Billboard Music Awards knowing that she was fighting through appendicitis on stage.

  Describing the pain, she said “I may or may not have broken down in tears after the show from pain. “I flew home directly after the event, nailed the surgery early this morning.”

  “Recovering after surgery super duper sucks. Turns out I don’t ‘rest’ well (so bored). Pain meds make me feel a different kind of horrible and make me question if I would rather feel the pain, instead,” the powerhouse vocalist added.

  With all fun, Clarkson said “Two of my three scars feel as if Lord Voldemort is always near…”
