Lea Salonga blasts “fake ads” using her name

The Tony Award-winning singer and actress Lea Salonga loses her patience over the fake advertisments circulating online that uses her identity.
On her Instagram account, Salonga posted a screenshot of her message warning her friends about the the ads.
“And once again, the rats come out to play,” Salonga said in a statement via Instagram. “Folks, if you come across one of those Lea Quits Showbiz bulls*** ads, those are fake. One, I’d never quit. This is what I love to do,” she wrote.
Early this year, some celebrities like Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo and even the late comedian Chokoleit were subjected into brands falsely using them to promote products.
“Whoever dreamed that up is a team of motherf***ers with way too much time on their hands,” Salonga concluded.
