No matter how much we want to cling to the warm weather Summer has been giving us for quite some time, time will come that we have to say goodbye to it and welcome the rainy season.
These past few days we have been experiencing slight rainfalls in the metro and bringing umbrellas and jackets with us has already becoming a habit.
More and more people are preparing for the rainy season since according to Philippine Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), we are already in the rainy season.
Yes, you got it right. It is officially the rainy season and it is time to toss those Summer outfit away and start hoarding jackets and raincoats or anything that will keep you warm and dry.
PAGASA even added that the rainfall conditions for July are expected to be “generally near to above normal” over most parts of Luzon and Visayas but areas in Mindanao and the Southern Visayas will generally have below normal rainfall conditions.
Brace yourselves and don’t forget to always bring your umbrella and jacket with you whenever you leave your house because it is officially the start of the rainy season!
