Christina Aguilera to celebrate 20th anniversary album

  Christina Aguilera has geared up to celebrate the 20th anniversary of her self-titled debut album on August 24 with not just one, but three special releases.

  “This month marks 20 years since my debut album, Christina Aguilera, was released! In its honor, I’m releasing xxtra special versions digitally & at my store..and more surprises…on Aug 23rd!” The pop artist announced on Tuesday, August 13.

  “Christina Aguilera” debuted number one on the Billboard 200 chart in 1999. It went eight times platinum and earned Christina her first Grammy as Best New Artist.

  The album includes the classic hit singles such as “What a Girl Wants,” “Come On Over Baby,” “I Turn To You,” and “Genie in a Bottle.”
