Popstar Princess Sarah Geronimo got the approval from Autism Society Philippines for her portrayal of autism on screen in her latest movie “Unforgettable.”
According to ABS-CBN News, the singer-actress was praised for her performance in the movie. “She captured their unwavering loyalty, singularity of purpose, and the depths of their distress! She met with young adults on the spectrum in preparing for her role. Teacher Cecile Sicam, co-founder of the Autism Society Philippines, served as a consultant during filming,” as posted on the Facebook page of the Autism Society of the Philippines.
“Unforgettable” is a film about Jasmine Lagman who lives with her grandmother since both her parents already passed away. Geronimo’s character was described as extra sensitive to loud noises, very honest, and would throw tantrums when she gets upset.
Sarah Geronimo’s co-star is Milo, a Jack Russell Terrier with a very expressive face.
You can catch “Unforgettable” in cinemas starting last October 23.
