Due to her doctor’s orders, Madonna had no choice but to cancel all her three Madame X tour dates in Boston in Massachusetts.
“Please forgive this unexpected turn of events. Doing my show every night brings me so much joy and to cancel is a kind of punishment for me but the pain I’m in right now is overwhelming and I must rest and follow doctor’s orders so I can come back stronger and better and continue the Madame X journey with all of you,” Madonna said in a statement.
The pop singer is scheduled to perform at the Boston Center’s Wang Theatre from November 30 to December 2, 2019. The cause of her pain is not yet disclosed.
Significantly, this is not the first time Madonna cancelled her shows: in the end of August this year, she cancelled the New York shows because of production delays and injury. Only few weeks from now, she pulled off her opening shows in Los Angeles.
