A rare recording copy of Brian Epstein of “The Beatles” for the Decca Records will go under auction in an online sale for between $65,000 and $91,000.

This audition tape is believed to be recorded in 1962 at the Decca Studio in London for New Year’s day celebration. It has notably known for the 15 tracks they performed for their commercial test which includes “Money,” “The Sheik of Araby,” “September in the Rain,” and “Like Dreamers Do.”

In this tape, it will be noted that Paul McCartney took the lead on the seven songs while George Harrison and John Lennon led the four other songs.

Among those being auctioned are from the collection of Alan Herring, the pair of wire-framed sunglasses John Lennon wore in a 1967 black comedy show.
