As the threat of the 2019-NCOV ARD spread over Asia and Europe, numerous concerts and shows are moved to be postponed.
Performances of artists have been called off in Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore and South Korea over the alarm that people can be infected by the virus that originated in Wuhan City, Hubei, China.
Cantopop veteran Andy Lau postponed his concerts in Hong Kong, same thing with the Hong Kong Philharmonic canceling five shows. South Korea agencies are pulling off K-pop events in and out of the country. Popular K-pop artist Taeyeon and boybands WINNER, NCT Dream and GOT7 also canceled shows in Macao, Singapore and Thailand.
The grave effects of the virus outbreak hit several industries, not just in China, but hardly in Asia. It is expected that this phenomenon will create further havoc in economy.
