To celebrate the nobility of all health workers around the globe, Lady Gaga has collaborated with more than 70 artists to lineup in a historical digital and television special entitled “One World: Together At Home.”
The online event will happen on Saturday, April 18. Aside from the tribute to health workers, this event is a fund raising activity as well to support all health frontliners and the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund of the World Health Organization.
This advocacy brings most notable entertainers including Billie Eilish & FINNEAS, Billie Joe Armstrong, Camila Cabello, Shawn Mendes, Chris Martin, Jennifer Lopez, Sam Smith and Taylor Swift. To add more, among them are Alicia Keys, Amy Poehler, Awkwafina, Céline Dion, Ellen DeGeneres, LL COOL J, Lupita Nyong’o, Matthew McConaughey, Oprah Winfrey, Pharrell Williams, Shawn Mendes, Usher, and Victoria Beckham.
“We are grateful to the private sector who have listened to the public’s call for action and come together to support the global response to COVID19. This pandemic is too large for governments to tackle alone,” said Hugh Evans, co-founder and CEO of Global Citizen.
One World: Together At Home will be premiered at 5:00 PM PDT/8 p.m. EDT, to be seen on ABC, NBC, Viacom CBS Networks, The CW, iHeartMedia, and Bell Media networks in Canada.
