Gary V. holds 2-night online concert for COVID-19 frontliners

• Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano has started his two-night online concert this April 18 and 19 entitled “Gary V: Hopeful” to give tribute to what he called as “unsung heroes of COVID-19 pandemic.”

  The event was partnered by Operation Blessing Foundation Philippines and Shining Light Foundation Incorporated to gather funds to support frontliners and essential workers in the COVID-19 response. Feeding programs will be done also for those who have lost their means of earning money during lockdown.

  

  This online concert of Gary V. started at about 8:30 in the evening and lasted for almost three hours. The foundation was able to raise PhP 2,355,366 as of this writing.

  Gary V. mentioned that it his way of celebrating his 37th year in the music industry, “but above anything else, to give some hope to everybody” amid this COVID-19 crisis in the country.
