Lea Salonga hosts livestream fundraiser with theater artists

Theater icon and singer Lea Salonga hosted an online event with her fellow theater artists on Tuesday night, May 12.
The online event is titled “Don’t Call Me Leah! A Masterclass by Lea Salonga” aiming to help those members of the performing arts community affected by the COVID-19 lockdown in the country. The event is also part of the Open House fundraising project for the freelancers, performers, designers, technicians and production staff who were displaced and lost their source of income as jobs are put on hold.
Salonga was co-hosted by “Ang Huling El Bimbo” artist Menchu Yulo. She was also joined by numerous actors in the theater arts namely Adrian Lindayag, Chamyto Aguedan, Jay Barrameda, Lance Reblando, Nar Cabico, Phi Palmos and Ricci Chan.
