Ely Buendia expresses gratitude to people supporting local artists

  The singer-songwriter and OPM icon Ely Buendia has extended his gratitude to all the people who continually supporting local artists amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

  On his Twitter account, Buendia said, “Thank you to everyone for supporting artists in these dire times.”

  Just like any other sectors in the country, one of the badly affected sector is the entertainment industry that made musicians’ livelihood at stake during the pandemic.

  Started in June 1, the whole of Metro Manila was shifted into general community quarantine where leisure and amusement, gaming and fitness and even mass gathering for religious purposes, gigs and concerts are still prohibited.
