Jason Mraz has decided to give income of his recently released album entitled “Look for the Good” to groups working for racial equality and justice.
The Grammy award winner is set to donate all his earnings from sales, streams, including his $250,000 advance from the reggae album.
“This is bigger than me. Now the CD itself has a purpose. The record itself actually can go out and serve.” Mraz tells The Associated Press.
“I’ve made plenty of quiet donations and that’s great. But I also want to inspire other leaders in business and other leaders in music to do the same,” he added.
