Singer-actress Kim Chiu has donated to the COVID-19 response, funds coming from the sales of her ‘Bawal Lumabas’ track’s merchandise.
Coming from the “Shop and Share” project of Angel Locsin and Anne Curtis, Chiu had given 1,500 food packs for the families badly affected by the lockdown and PhP 300,000 intended for mass testing.
On her Instagram account, she had shared a glimpse of what is going to be donated to charity. “Thank you po sa lahat ng [sumuporta] sa #bawallumabasmerch we were able to give…” Chiu said in the caption.
Chiu was recently bashed online because of sharing her thoughts about the shutdown of ABS-CBN on May 5, 2020. Her statement became trend and now a hit single.
