Katy Perry drops acoustic version of ‘Daisies’

• Pop star Katy Perry has dropped the soothing acoustic version of her newest single “Daisies,” July 1, Wednesday.

  The pregnant Katy Perry featured on her track the flawless vocals over the acoustic guitar. On the lyrics, it said, “They told me I was out there/ Tried to knock me down/ Took those sticks and stones/ Showed ’em I could build a house/ They tell me that I’m crazy/ But I’ll never let ’em change me/ ‘Til they cover me in daisies/ Daisies, daisies.”

  On the other hand, Perry revealed that “Never Really Over” which is the first taste of her newest musical era will be featured on the upcoming fifth album.

  The “Daisies” track is now out through Capitol Records.
