Rockband The Itchyworms is set to release a timely album that deals with the life of Filipinos during quarantine entitled “Waiting For The End To Start,” August 17, Monday.
The band members have recorded their conceptualized 9-track album of every song in their respective homes during the lockdown period amid the coronavirus pandemic.
“It’s a concept album in that our aim was to create art in the midst of a pandemic, to capture our emotions in the music we record, even with the limited recording gear we have at home,” lead guitarist Chino Singson said.
According to the press release of Sony Music Philippines, the album was written in reflection of the band members, both individual and collective experiences during the quarantine period.
