Ben&Ben stages online benefit concert for students, teachers

• The folk pop band Ben&Ben has graced everyone’s Sunday afternoon with their benefit concert entitled “Puhon 2,” October 4.

  Live in their Facebook page, the band encouraged viewers to make donations for their cause. Their online show lasted for more than an hour.

  The band aims to help four schools, three foundations and an Agta community. “Let us work hand in hand in helping students continue their education even during the pandemic,” they said on their website.

  Another objective of the cause is to bring students school supplies and other needed materials in e-learning as well as to provide care packages and vitamins for teachers and personnel assigned to distribute learning materials.

  Donations can be made through in-kind, direct bank transfer and other platforms such as Gcash and Paymaya.
