Every couple has their dream wedding. And a dream wedding involves a dream pre-nuptial photo shoot.
Some of us wanted a perfect, remarkable, memorable pre-nuptial photoshoot. It demonstrates the couple’s love for one another in the form of intimate photos. As we know it, photoshoots are usually done in artistic and creative venues: gardens, studios, memorable places, resorts, beaches, and if you want it too grand, you make it out of the country.
In this moment of our history, can you imagine doing such pre-nuptial photoshoots? How does a pandemic affect couples’ planning of their dream wedding?
That has been a sort of problem for a couple named Arjanmar Rebeta and Khaye Medina. Part of their dream wedding is to have pre-nuptial shoot on several countries across the globe. Subsequently, the COVID-19 pandemic precluded them to do so.
But it was not totally a disaster for them. Arjanmar and Khaye are owners of production firm called Mediarama Creatives. Their capability and talent on producing creative photos and videos became a large factor on doing alternative pre-nuptial shoot “around the world.”
The Rebeta couple called their pre-nuptial shoot as “Around the World… of Marikina.” Yes, you read it right. The pre-nuptial shoot took place in Marikina.

There is a village in the city named as Marikina Greenheights Subdivision, located in Barangays Nangka and Concepcion Uno. This subdivision has the names of several countries as street names.
Street names found in the village are Brazil, China, Costa Rica, Cuba, Egypt, Finland, France, Haiti, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Peru, Puerto Rico, Senegal, Spain, Sweden, and Zambia.

The couple grabbed opportunity of this circumstance and took lovely photos beside street names within the village. They captured moments on the sidewalks, in the middle of intersections, pedestrian lanes, tricycle terminals, repair shops at the front of businesses and stores, with street vendors, in different wardrobes and even with a face mask worn on their faces.
(It was our dream before to have a pre-nuptial photoshoot in different countries. But because of some limitations, we cannot achieve it for now. Even if time permits, we cannot travel now because of the pandemic. However, dreams can be attained through other means. We are happy to share our journey in 21 countries we went this time of pandemic.)

Dreaming of a pre-nuptial around the world? Well, maybe you can suspend it for now like Arjanmar and Khaye.
Aspire for it, plan for it and the day will come where you can show to the world that dreams do come true!
