Paul McCartney promotes vaccine take up, condemns wearing mask as violation

  British pop legend Paul McCartney urges people to take up vaccination against the coronavirus, December 18, Friday.

  “I will (have the vaccine), and I’d like to encourage people to get it too,” McCartney said on BBC radio. “There used to be anti-vaccine people, that was OK, that was their choice,” he added.

  “But with the internet now these things really take hold and so you do get these people who won’t take it.”

  In an interview at CBS Sunday Morning, McCartney slammed those commenting about wearing masks. He told journalist Seth Donna, “When people say, ‘Wearing a mask is a violation of my civil liberties,’ I say, ‘No. Is.”
