The annual Grammy Awards has been reported postponed due to the coronavirus surge in Los Angeles, January 6, Wednesday.
Grammys is due to take place on January 31, 2020, Sunday. Rolling Stone magazine and Variety have reported that the awards night may take place in March.
The organizers said that they have experienced some difficulties on figuring out the changes the way the annual show is to be held such as the absence of audiences and the traditional red carpet entrance. It was also said that staging some performances in small outdoor venues rather than the large indoor Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles would be possible.
