Fil-Am Olivia Rodrigo makes TV debut of ‘Drivers License’

• Emerging star Filipino-American Olivia Rodrigo has brought the charts’ biggest song into television, February 4, Thursday.

  Rodrigo was seen performing her chart topper track “Drivers License” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. She performed with a grand piano under a spotlight in darkness.

  Rodrigo is just 17 years old and now in the long line of artists coming out from Disney.

  “Drivers License” is her first non-Disney track. It tackles about the singer’s experience of celebrating an accomplishment without the person you loved. It was released on January 8, 2021.
