Daft Punk sales, streams increase after break up

The sales and streams of the French electronic duo Daft Punk has risen up after their break up, February 24, Wednesday.
Fans were reported to stream their music by the millions on Monday, February 22, after the split up announcement. According to Alpha Data, Daft Punk’s catalog soared up to 500%, sales were up to 1,335%, and digital album sales were up to 2,650%.
Their album entitled Discovery was seen with over 1.5 million on-demand streams on Monday, which is a 429% compared on Sunday. It was also seen that the album had an increase of digital album sales of over 8,000%.
Their most popular albums by streams were Random Access Memories (up 600% in streams), Homework (up 714%), Alive 2007 (up 294%), and TRON: Legacy (up 360%).
Their most-streamed songs were “Get Lucky” (up 180% in on-demand audio streams), “One More Time” (up 368%), “Harder Better Faster Stronger” (up 418%), “Around the World” (up 381%) and “Instant Crush” (392%).
