Coldplay releases new single, beams ‘High Power’ to space

• The British Band Coldplay has uniquely release their newest single entitled ‘Higher Power,’ May 6, Thursday.

  Seen in the European Space Agency show, the rock group has teamed up with the International Space Station (ISS) to speak with French ESA astronaut Thomas Pesquet.

  “Right now we aren’t able to play for anybody on Earth, so we thought we’d just play for you,” the lead singer said to the astronaut.

  Next day after the interview, Coldplay also released a recorded outdoor video of the new single. The group was made popular by their hit songs ‘Paradise,’ and ‘Viva la Vida.’
