The Dawn releases new single ‘May Bukas Pa Tayo’

• OPM band The Dawn has released their newest single entitled, ‘May Bukas Pa Tayo,’ May 20, Thursday.

  The song was premiered on YouTube. It is now also available for streaming on Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes Store, Amazon Music, Deezer, Tidal, and Pandora.

  In a Facebook post, the band revealed that their newest release is a hopeful song. The lyrics go this way: “Sa pagdating ng bukang liwayway, taglay ang bagong liwanag na may bukas pa.”

  The band invited fans to download the song to listen to it. They even revealed the alternating meters of the instrumental section. “The instrumental section however is in alternating meters of 6/4 and 7/4. Because, well, why not?”
