ICYMI: Vocalist, cancer warrior Nightbirde scores golden buzzer at America’s Got Talent

• Vocalist Nightbirde has been rewarded with a golden buzzer on her recent audition at America’s Got Talent, June 9, Wednesday.

  Nightbirde, or Jane Marczweski, has wowed the judges and the audience with her original song, ‘It’s Okay.’ Simon Cowell called her performance ‘absolutely stunning.’

  Before her performance, the 30-year-old singer has shared that she has cancer. She revealed that doctors advised her of only 2% chance of survival after cancer cells reached her lungs, spine, and liver.

  “Thank you. It’s important that everyone knows that I’m so much more than the bad things that happen to me. … You can’t wait until life isn’t hard anymore before you decide to be happy,” she said after the audition.

  “I won’t give you a ‘yes,’ but I will give you something else.” Cowell, then pushed the golden buzzer and gave her a hug on stage. “Everything about that was really special,” Cowell told Nightbirde.
