The Los Angeles Superior Court judge has denied a motion to remove Britney Spears‘ father as co-conservator requested in November 2020, June 30, Wednesday.
“The conservator’s request to suspend James P. Spears immediately upon the appointment of Bessemer Trust Company of California as sole conservator of estate is denied without prejudice,” the court filing states.
In August 2020, Britney once requested the court to prevent her father to reassert control over her life and career. “Britney is strongly opposed to James return as conservator of her person,” the document said. It was requested once again in November 2020.
In April 2021, Britney personally address the Los Angeles court and as a result she was set to appear to the court on June 23.
