SB19 and Ben&Ben’s ‘Mapa’ music video reaches 5.5 million views

• The band version and official music video of ‘Mapa’ by the folk-pop band Ben&Ben and P-pop group SB19 has reached a milestone, July 9, Friday.

  As of the writing, the performance video has now 5,418,286 almost two weeks after its release in June 27.

  The song was an ode to all parents that was originally released by SB19 in May 2021. With their collaboration with Ben&Ben, the song is now reported to be more jazzy, with orchestral details, inviting harmonies, and expansive arrangements. The performance were shot at the newly restored Manila Metropolitan Theatre.

  “The collaboration came about not just because SB19 and Ben&Ben belong to the same record label but also because there was genuine clamor from fans of both groups to see them join forces since last year,” said Roslyn Pineda, Sony Music Philippines General Manager.
