  The Beatles’ legend Paul McCartney has encouraged his fans to get vaccinated against COVID-19, August 2, Monday.

  On his social media accounts, the 79-year-old McCartney shared a photo of him being injected with a COVID-19 vaccine. He was also seen wearing a face mask and a bonnet. “BE COOL. GET VAX’D,” he wrote.

  “The vaccine will get us out of this. I think we’ll come through it, I know we’ll come through, and it’s great news about the vaccine. I’ll have it as soon as I’m allowed,” he said in an interview.

  According to the data coming from the United Kingdom government, more than 46 million people have received their first dose while 38 million people were inoculated with the complete dose.
