Filipino-American singer H.E.R. has finally settled the lawsuit filed against her in 2016, August 20, Friday.
The complaint was filed in June 2020 in the U.S. District Court in Southern New York. It alleged H.E.R., DJ Camper, Justine Love, and the Sony Music Entertainment intentionally infringed Andre Sims’ original composition entitled ‘Endless Minds.’
“I’m happy we could reach a resolution, and would like to thank everyone for their support and prayers,” Sims said in an official statement.
The terms of the settlement were not disclosed.
On the other hand, H.E.R. hasn’t give any comment yet regarding the issue.
