Ebe Dancel releases new single ‘Tanging Kailangan’

• OPM singer-songwriter Ebe Dancel has dropped his newest single entitled ‘Tanging Kailangan,’ August 24, Tuesday.

  ‘Tanging Kailangan’ is a song about the sincerity of a wedding vow, its love and devotion. It was written before Christmas of 2020. “I just write as sincerely as possible, always careful with the words that I use together. I guess the fans appreciate that,” Dancel said in an interview with Manila Bulletin.

  The song was produced by Dancel’s fellow OPM artist, Rico Blanco and was recorded with bassist Roger Alcantara, drummer Paolo Santiago, violinists Dino Decena and Jascha Obieta, and cellist Jopi Vergara Doestra.

  In an Instagram post yesterday, Dancel teased the release of ‘Tanging Kailangan,’ “Surprise! New single coming out tomorrow,” he wrote in the caption.
