BTS reaches 1B YouTube views milestone for ‘Fake Love,’ ‘Idol’

The Korean supergroup BTS has reached two consecutive billion YouTube views milestones last week, September 8, Wednesday.
On Wednesday, the Kpop group’s track entitled ‘Fake Love’ has reached 1 billion views on YouTube. It was uploaded on May 18, 2018, achieved this feat in three years and three months. As of this writing, the music video already has 1,005,000,052 views.
On Sunday, September 12, another track entitled ‘Idol’ has reached 1 billion views on the same video streaming platform. It was uploaded on August 24, 2018, achieved this mark in three years and 18 days. As of this writing, the music video already has 1,003,788,939 views.
‘Fake Love’ and ‘Idol’ were the fifth and sixth music videos to attain the milestone after ‘DNA,’ ‘Boy With Luv,’ ‘Dynamite,’ and ‘MIC Drop (Steve Aoki Remix).’ BTS is the only group or Asian act who made the most hits in the past years.
