New ‘Permission to Dance’ music video features BTS fans

• Korean pop supergroup BTS has released the newest music video for their single ‘Permission to Dance,’ September 10, Thursday.

  The newest music video featured the fans of BTS across the globe. BTS fans were seen doing their ‘Permission to Dance’ challenge, compiled in the video, and an astronaut seemed to watch them from the outer space.

  Member Jungkook said that it aimed to deliver good influence and positive energy to people and make this world a better place amid the pandemic. “Actually, the purpose of this challenge was to give a positive message to people but we also felt thankful, comforted, and received positive energy while watching people doing the challenge,” Jimin seconded.

  “That’s not what we set out when we became singers. But when we think about taking the impact we have and having a positive influence on a lot of people, the answer was doing what we can do,” Suga said.

  As of this writing, the music video has 8,113,558 YouTube views with more than two million positive reactions and more than 77,000 comments.
