BTS member Jimin has donated a significant amount to polio patients in South Korea, September 22, Wednesday.
Jimin has once again donated a generous amount of 100 million Korean won or at least PhP 4 million to the Rotary District 3590, a report from Soompi confirmed.
The donation was made through his father’s fund raising campaign which aims to create vaccines to eradicate polio virus. The collected funds will be unveiled on October 24, World Polio Day, the annual observance established by the Rotary International in remembering the maker of polio vaccine, Jonas Salk.
This is not the first time that Jimin donated to good causes. He previously donated to Busan High School of Arts, the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education, and the Jeonnam Future Education Foundation.
