BTS submits ‘Butter’ for consideration in 2022 Grammys

• The Korean supergroup BTS has once again submitted a hit song for consideration in the 2022 Grammys, October 27, Wednesday.

  BTS has entered the ‘Butter’ under the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category. If nominated, ‘Butter’ would be the second nod after ‘Dynamite’ nomination this year. The K-pop group was beaten by Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande with their duet ‘Rain on Me.’

  The Recording Academy has opened the first round of polls for the 64th Grammy Awards on October 22 and will end on Friday, November 5.

  BTS’ hit song may have a bout against 24kGoldn and Iann Dior’s ‘Mood,’ Doja Cat and SZA’s ‘Kiss Me More,’ Lizzo and Cardi B’s ‘Rumors,’ and The Kid LAROI and Miley Cyrus’ ‘Without You.’

  ‘Butter’ was released in May 2021. BTS has set five Guinness World Record titles with the track. It has now more than 600 million views on YouTube.
