  Former Eraseheads frontman Ely Buendia has paid a visit to the Office of the Vice President and gave the official a souvenir, November 11, Thursday.

  On her Facebook page, Vice President Leni Robredo has shared photos of her and Buendia, along with the limited edition vinyl of the band’s 25th anniversary.

  “Ely Buendia in the house!! Grabe, nabulabog opisina. He gave me this Eraserheads 25th Anniversary Limited Edition on vinyl,” the vice president wrote. She also revealed that most of her staff are fans of Buendia. “Thank you, Ely. Nakita mo kung gaano kadami fans mo sa office namin,” Robredo said.

  “Thank you very much Honorable Vice President Leni for taking time out from your busy sched to welcome me in your office! Big thanks also to all your staff. You are all my idols!” Buendia wrote on Instagram.

  The unintended link between Buendia and Robredo was sparked by the OPM icon’s tweet triggering Eraserheads reunion. He was asked, “May pag asa pa po kaya magkakaroon ng Eheads reunion?” “‘Pag tumakbo si Leni,” he tweeted.
