The National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) has named the members of the Pinoy pop supergroup SB19 as its newest youth ambassadors, December 16, Thursday.
Citing the group’s effort to bring Filipino music to the international scene, NCCA lauded SB19’s recent accomplishments which are in line to the mandate of the agency promoting Filipino art and culture across the globe.
Aside from being named as youth ambassadors, members of the pop group now serve as the new faces of Sentro Rizal, a cultural center for overseas Filipinos and for anyone interested in anything Filipino, established in 2011.
Composed of Pablo, Josh, Justin, Ken, and Stell, SB19 has been a collaborator of the NCCA on its activities such as the Philippines-Korea Cultural Exchange Festival and Padayon.
