Alexander 23 drops new single ‘Hate Me If It Helps’

• Singer-songwriter Alexander 23 has dropped his comeback single entitled, ‘Hate Me If It Helps,’ February 10, Thursday.

  ‘Hate Me If It Helps’ marks the start of a thrilling new era for the Chicago-bred musician. Alexander 23 co-wrote the newly released track with Olivia Rodrigo and co-produced it alongside Dan Nigro. The track was released via Interscope Records and accompanied by an equally powerful video.

  “I’d gotten to a point where I realized that I loved this person enough that I didn’t care what it took for them to feel better after the breakup — so if blaming me gets them to where they need to be, I’m totally okay with that,” he said.

  The guitar-heavy track arrived after the announcement that Alexander 23 is set to join John Mayer on his upcoming Sob Rock Tour 2022 from February 17 to March 5 mainly in New York, Washington DC, Massachusetts in the United States and Toronto in Canada.
