The South Korean supergroup BTS has announced that they will be staging their first shows in their home country since the COVID-19 pandemic began, February 16, Wednesday.
The three shows in Seoul will be part of the ‘Permission to Dance on Stage’ tour which was disrupted by the pandemic. It will take place on March 10, 12, and 13 at the Seoul’s Olympic Stadium, their agency Bit Hit Music said.
“We would like to thank all ARMY for patiently waiting for an in-person concert to be held in Korea,” Big Hit Music said in a statement.
The K-pop last held a live concert in October 2019, just three months before the coronavirus emerged. They performed on their first in-person concerts since the onset of the pandemic in November 2021, in Los Angeles, California, in the United States.
