Shawn Mendes promises his love for Camila Cabello ‘never gonna change’ after breakup

  Canadian singer-songwriter Shawn Mendes has promised to be friend with ex-girlfriend Camila Cabello, saying that his love for her ‘never gonna change,’ April 7, Thursday.

  Mendes has expressed these remarks in an episode of ‘On Air with Ryan Seacrest’ revealing that his new release, ‘When You’re Gone,’ was written after his split with Cabello.

  “I think it’s really just the processing and the complexities of that, the complexities of knowing something is better and still wanting to hold on and all the reasons why. I’m really glad to be able to just be real and authentic with my music because it’s cathartic for me too, to be able to write about these things,” he explained.

  “I think most people have that fear but in a lot of ways, I think a breakup can be a blessing because it can show you that you are strong enough, which is necessary,” he stated.

  The former couple took Instagram to announce their breakup in November 2021. They never disclose any reason about their breakup.
