ICYMI: Avril Lavigne announces engagement to Mod Sun

  Canadian singer-songwriter Avril Lavigne has announced her engagement to American singer Mod Sun, April 7, Thursday.

  Lavigne took Instagram to share the great news that happened in Paris, France. “Oui! Je t’aime pour toujours 🤍💍🥂Dimanche. 27. Mars. 2022,” she wrote. Meaning, “I love you always.”

  Mod Sun also posted the same photo on his Instagram account while sharing a poem about her Lavigne. “The day we met I knew you were the one. Together forever til our days are done. I had a dream where I proposed in Paris. I pulled out a ring + asked you to wear it. I was on one knee as I looked in your eyes. You’re too beautiful for my words to describe. I grabbed your hand + took one last breath… I said ‘will you marry me?’ + she said ‘yes.’” He wrote.

  The two musicians first discovered that they are up into a relationship when they released the hit single ‘Flames,’ a single appearing on Mod Sun’s album ‘Internet Killed the Rockstar,’ where Machine Gun Kelly introduced them.
