BTS visited the White House to meet with the President Joe Biden last Tuesday. Part of the said visit was to address anti-Asian hate crimes and disinformation and Asian inclusion last May 31, 2022.
All seven members of the K-Pop group – Kim Namjoon (RM), Kim Seokjin (Jin), Min Yoongi (Suga), Jung Hoseok (J-Hope), Park Jimin, Kim Taehyung (V), and Jeon Jungkook were present.
It was great to meet with you, @bts_bighit. Thanks for all you’re doing to raise awareness around the rise in anti-Asian hate crimes and discrimination.
I look forward to sharing more of our conversation soon. pic.twitter.com/LnczTpT2aL

The K-Pop group’s visit is just in time for the Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month in the US. According to the US President, “This is an important month here in America. A lot of our Asian American friends have been subject to real discrimination. Hate only hides. When good people talk about it, and say how bad it is, it goes down.” The US President believes that people really care about what the group has to say.
The group did not forget to thank the ARMYS worldwide to make this possible.
Thanks for having us at the White House! It was a huge honor to discuss important issues with @POTUS today. We’re very grateful for #BTSARMY who made it all possible.🫰💜
