BLACKPINK drops teaser for ‘Shut Down’ MV

  On September 13 – the four-piece K-pop girl group launched the trailer for their upcoming music video for “Shut Down.” Followed by the success of “Pink Venom,” which also opened the “Born Pink” era, they are also launching the song as the second single of their second studio album.

  While “Pink Venom” gave us a glimpse of what the music video would look or feel like – this time, the Blinks are blindfolded. Everything remains a mystery to date. The preview of “Shut Down” includes musical elements from Pagnini’s Violin Concerto no. 2, “La Campanella” in B Minor – a classical piece. Visual-wise, several BLACKPINK hit titles appear on different colorful banners and signages in a city designed to dedicate the girl group. More so, there were brief appearances of the girls – and they once again delivered with their fashionable outfits.

  Not only are we waiting for the “Shut Down” MV to come out, but we are also a few days away from the release of “Born Pink!” The music video and their second full-length album will be out on September 16, 2022, on major streaming platforms!

  BLACKPINK is also set to perform in the country on March 25, 2023, to promote their second studio album. Further details to be announced.
