“I’d rather be dry, but at least I’m alive.”
On September 18 – Just 5 songs away from ending the Miami show, “Just Dance” singer and award-winning actress Lady Gaga was on the piano section of her recent stadium concert “The Chromatica Ball,” when she was notified by her team about the heavy thunderstorm. The severe weather condition may harm anyone from the crowd, staff, or the star herself. Unfortunately, Hard Rock Stadium is an outdoor venue – which harbors more risk to anyone within the place.

She is seen stopping from singing “Angel Down” and rushes down the piano stage to reach the main stage. She informed everyone that the show had to end early due to the harmful weather conditions.

However, moments later, the stadium & Haus of Gaga (her management) announced that the show is set to be canceled for good this time.
While Gaga already made her personal apology onstage, she broke down in an Instagram post:
“I know that for a really long time, I’ve always wanted to be, like, that hardcore bad b***h. But, what I also want is to be responsible and loving – and I don’t know what I would do if anything happened to anyone in the audience, or any members of my crew. So, I’m sorry that we didn’t get to do the epic version of ‘Rain on Me.’”
“Rain on Me” is one of her hits in collaboration with “Side to Side” singer Ariana Grande.
She also expressed gratitude to a fan who threw a small bouquet of roses the moment she made the announcement of cutting the show short.
The Chromatica Ball was Lady Gaga’s sixth headlining tour, in promotion of her sixth studio album “Chromatica” (2020). The tour kicked off on June 2022 in Düsseldorf, Germany, and ended in Miami, U.S.A. on September 2022.
