Adam Levine breaks silence on cheating allegations

  Adam Levine recently made headlines after being publicly accused of cheating on his pregnant wife of eight years, Victoria’s Secret Angel Behati Prinsloo.

  “A lot is being said about me right now and I want to clear the air. I used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner. I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period in my life,” the Maroon 5 frontman wrote on Instagram on Tuesday morning.

  

  Levine added, “In certain instances, it became inappropriate; I addressed that and taken proactive steps to remedy this with my family. My wife and my family are all I care about in this world. To be this naive and stupid enough to risk the only thing that truly matters to me was the greatest mistake I could ever make. I will never make it again. I take full responsibility. We will get through it. And we will get through it together.”

  The statement is in response to a viral TikTok video uploaded by Instagram model Sumner Stroh in which she displayed screenshots of her exchanges with Levine, claiming that they had been “seeing each other about a year,” though she did not specify exactly when.

  Stroh also stated that she had stopped communicating with Levine for months before he “came back to [her] life” with another Instagram direct message which reads, “Ok serious question. I’m having another baby and if it’s [a] boy I really wanna name it Sumner. You OK with that? DEAD serious.”

  She ended the video clarifying that she isn’t after sympathy and understanding that she isn’t the victim. “I’m not the one who’s getting hurt here. It’s Behati and her children and for that I’m so, so sorry.”

  Aware of the implications of her job, Stroh claimed that she wanted to “handle this privately,” but felt compelled to come clean after a friend allegedly attempted to sell the screenshots to a tabloid.

  Levine and Prinsloo have been married since 2014. They have two children together, and are currently pregnant with their third child which the latter only announced last week.

  Meanwhile, Maroon 5 is set to return to Manila for a concert in December as part of the Asian leg of its world tour.
