Quezon City is the world’s fifth largest listener of Taylor Swift music on Spotify!

According to the streaming giant’s data from September 27 to October 4, Quezon City ranked fifth, with London leading, followed by New York, Sydney, and Melbourne.

“Last week, these 13 cities were the biggest Taylor Swift listeners in the world. Will your city be #1 when the clock strikes midnight?” Spotify wrote in a tweet.

The list also included Chicago, Los Angeles, São Paulo, Mexico City, Singapore, Atlanta, Brisbane, and Dallas.

The data report was disclosed ahead of the American singer-songwriter’s upcoming tenth studio album which is set to be released on October 21.

Titled Midnights, she described the 13-track album as a “collection of music written in the middle of the night, a journey through terrors and sweet dreams.”

Midnights is Swift’s first new album since 2020, when she surprised fans with Folklore and Evermore in July and December of that year, respectively. Swift has been re-recording her older music since revealing in November 2020 that she does not legally own the masters of her previous albums’ records.

Fearless (Taylor’s Version) was released in April 2021, followed by Red (Taylor’s Version) in November 2021. Red (Taylor’s Version) included 30 re-recorded tracks, six From The Vault tracks, collaboration projects with Phoebe Bridgers and Ed Sheeran, and a 10-minute version of All Too Well.
