Battling the Monster: Justin Bieber and Shawn Mendes spotted together amid mental health breaks

  Canadian singers Justin Bieber and Shawn Mendes were seen out and about!
  
  Following the cancellation of both their tours in order to focus on their health, the two were sighted attending church together on Wednesday, October 26.

  Bieber and Mendes were photographed arriving at Churchome in Beverly Hills, California, with Bieber driving and Mendes riding shotgun.
  
  The 20-something musicians go way back. Mendes dated Justin Bieber’s now-wife Hailey Bieber in November 2017, and the couple even attended the 2018 Met Gala together in May of that year.

  While they were in a relationship, Hailey rekindled her romance with Bieber a month later in June 2018, followed by an engagement in July and their marriage in November.

  Aside from this, the two also had a song together where they opened up about their struggles with stardom titled Monster in 2020.
  
  It can be recalled that Mendes announced the cancellation of his world tour in July telling fans, “It has become more clear that I need to take the time I‘ve never taken personally, to ground myself and come back stronger.”

  Bieber followed suit a few months notifying the end of his Justice World Tour and explaining, “The exhaustion overtook me and I realize that I need to make my health the priority right now.”
