    Paws up, Little Rodents? 🤣

This just in: Rats got rhythm! Lady Gaga has all the girls and the gays (the LGBTQIA+ community), yet, the Little Monsters fanbase also has RATS!

The scientists also played snippets of “Another One Bites the Dust,” “Beat It,” “Sugar,” and Mozart’s sonata for two pianos while keeping an eye on the rodents. The lab rat was made to listen to one of the most well-known LGBTQIA+ anthems, “Born This Way.”

Researchers from the University of Tokyo’s Graduate School of Information Science and Technology discovered that rats dance to the beat of the music in the same way people do. Beat synchronicity, or the capacity to discern a song’s rhythm, was previously believed to be an exclusively human trait. In short, humans unconsciously move their heads to the beat. The rats even maintain a rhythm of 120 to 140 beats per minute, the same manner humans do!

Music exerts a strong appeal to the brain and profoundly affects emotion and cognition. To utilize music effectively, we need to reveal the neural mechanism underlying this empirical fact,” Associate Professor Hirozaku Takahashi said in a statement.

More so, the citizens of Twitter got something to say:

In conclusion… Rats really do have taste!

“Born This Way” (2011) was released by Lady Gaga under Interscope Records, as the song which launched her third studio album “Born This Way” in the same year.

Lady Gaga (born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta) is a multi-award singer and actress. She is best known for her eccentric fashion, and hit singles like “Just Dance,” “Poker Face,” “Bad Romance,” and “Shallow,” to name a few. She is also recognized with famous roles – such as “Ally” from A Star is Born (2018), and “The Countess” from American Horror Story: Hotel (2015), to name a few.
